What to Expect in a Numerology Reading

One of the most exciting experiences about ancient methods of self-knowledge like numerology, is to get a proper and in-depth numerology reading. The most prevalent and well-known methods from ancient time that offer such a gift are numerology and astrology. However, since the science of numerology isn’t taught in schools or made part of our norm, people approach it with vastly different expectations. Some more grounded and some far fetched and unrealistic. In this article I’ll explain what a numerology reading can give you, what you can learn and what are its limitations.

Numerology Reading – Unveiling your Purpose in this Lifetime

The most important and powerful thing about a numerology reading is that you can take a deep look into who you are. That means your true inner self. The deep energies that make up who and what you are. But also what you are destined to do and become in this lifetime. Numerology gives you access to see what intentions your Soul set forth for this lifetime and what it truly longs to learn and master. Of all aspects and powers of numerology, this one is by far the deepest, most accurate and also, most important. Why? Because it brings clarity to your path and helps you align yourself with the true impulse and purpose of your Soul’s Journey.

Many, mistakenly think that numerology is a kind of fortune telling device. That’s not exactly so. But more on that later. However fortune telling, or predictions are of very little significance. In fact, in terms of your spiritual growth, they pale into insignificance. Knowing who you are and what your soul intends you to be and do is of great evolutionary value on the other hand. And that is truly the biggest gift you should look for in a numerology reading.

Predictions and Forecasts in a Numerology Reading

Ok so you want to know your future? You want to know whether you will get that desired job? Whether you will be rich? If that man you like will like you back? I’m sorry to disappoint, but there’s very little numerology can do here. Allow me to explain. My podcast is called “Numerology – GPS for the Soul”. The reason I chose the word “GPS” is because a GPS is dynamic. Open Google Maps or Waze and see how the traffic changes, or how it offers multiple routes to the same destination. This is very much like real life. There is destiny and there is free will simultaneously. That’s why a numerology reading can only describe a probability in terms of predictions. It is not nothing, but it starts to enter a grey zone where energies are much more fluid. That’s why I’m more cautious with predictions.

Where Predictions Can Work

Having said that, numerology can give some good and solid indication as to how events are about to unfold. After all, it is a GPS, and it does show us the way. Still, it is tricky, because while I can show you what lays ahead, the free will in you, might change course. What I can speak about with full confidence are the energies of your personal years (from birthday to birthday) and what lessons and opportunities they bring as well as challenges. Examining deeply the energies of the time, I can foresee what the road ahead will most probably look like for you. The problem is, I cannot tell how you will react to this time and to what lays ahead. I can say some things, but otherwise a numerology reading is limited in that regard. If a numerologist claims to tell you exactly how things will unfold, know that you are either dealing with a charlatan or someone who is deluded with overconfidence.

Relationships and Compatibility in a Reading

Another fascinating aspect in a numerology reading is that of relationships and compatibility. Especially in the romantic sense. Numerology can give you quite a lot of input about your potential connection with a significant other. It can show you the potentials and the traps. Thing is, like before, the reading can’t predict what course you’ll take. That’s mostly an unknown (in most cases). In rare cases you can almost guess whether it’ll work out well or not. But only in rare cases where many details of the charts align in ways that truly stand out. A lot remains an open adventure. This is why, even when I see a difficult number constellation for a particular couple, I’ll never tell anyone “this will not work out” in a numerology reading. This to me is a huge no-no. Because if there is real love, even with the hardest of composite charts, couples can thrive. Whereas, those with the most harmonious charts can squander the relationship if they aren’t careful and loving enough.

A numerology reading will show the couple what they are meant to learn and be together. It’ll help them understand what brings them closer and what aggravates conflicts. The reading will show them their unique blueprint as a relationship – a bit like a mutual destiny they are meant to learn and fulfill. I won’t hide from clients the potential difficulties I see. But I won’t claim to know whether a difficulty means an unsuccessful relationship. That’s bigger than be and than numerology.

Freestyle Questions during a Reading

The last aspect of a numerology reading I would like to talk about is that of open questions. Simply asking whatever you want about your life. Naturally this has to be grounded. If you come to a reading and ask me “what job will my cousin be doing next year?” or “will I be moving to China sometime in my life?” these are too abstract questions that cannot be answered. Freestyle questions, have to be related to your immediate life, something that is truly burning for you. You may ask about your health, or about how you can empower yourself to make better money, about changes in career and what best fits you or what blocks you in communication with people etc. Just to name a few. These questions pertain to your everyday life and are grounded in your lived experience. These matters are crucial for you and your well-being and can certainly be addressed in a numerology reading.

Final Words

So to sum it up, it’s important to keep your questions grounded and relating to your journey and life experience. Numerology is not a know-it-all oracle that dishes out answers left and right. And again, if a numerologist gives you such answers, be very cautious as you might be dealing with a charlatan or someone who is blindly overconfident.

As you can see, the options in a numerology reading are pretty vast and once you approach the reading with a grounded attitude, you will gain a lot. Just a few weeks back (as of the date of writing this article) I gave a reading to a man aged 59. At the end of the reading he was with tears and told me: “this is one of the most meaningful days in my life”. That’s the power of a numerology reading.
