Self-Expression in the Numbers

Self-expression is just the natural way every being wants to express what is intrinsic and natural to its structure. Each one of us embodies a particular structure, represented by the numbers. The numbers help us understand what’s our unique way of self-expression, how nature intended us to flow, move and sing our unique song. Let us explore a few number combinations and what their self-expression might look like.

Self-Expression reflected in Number Combinations

Normally when you read content about numerology, you read descriptions of single digits. You might read about the behavior of numbers 3 or 5. Or perhaps you’ll read about the powers of 1 and 9 etc. I could go down that route, but I want us to go a little deeper. I’m going to explore a few number combinations throughout this post and write about their unique self-expression. A number combination is any two numbers merging to form a new energetic “entity” that has its own behavior. Let’s jump right into the number combos and discuss their self-expression!

Number combination 1-3:

The 1-3 combo is very youthful. They have a vibrant flare and are more childlike in the way they speak and express themselves. They love talking, socializing, having fun. Their self-expression can be very upbeat, cheerful, with plenty of ideas and and a strong wish to experience life. They express themselves in rather simple ways, not complicated, can even be humoristic, not searching for depth necessarily, but more for fun. They create fun!

Number combination 2-7:

The 2-7 people are very gentle, subtle and shy. They express themselves in very gentle ways, often being very cautious in what they say. They are very self-aware, sometimes to a fault, and so they may come across as timid. Their tendency is not to express everything they feel or want. In fact, they often live with many unmet desires as a result of their overwhelming shyness. Their self-expression is on the more quiet and hesitant side. They express themselves best when others invite them to share of themselves, when a space of acceptance and appreciation of their unique subtlety is opened for them.

Number combination 3-6:

The self-expression of the 3-6 personality is always filled with beauty. From the way they dress, to the way they design their surroundings, to the art they create. They come across as very kind, loving, warm and nourishing personalities. It’s easy to love them and very enjoyable to interact with them. They create an atmosphere of openness and friendliness and one feels embraced in their presence. They have a strong urge and need to share creativity, art and beauty with others and this has a major role in bringing fulfillment to their self-expression.

Number combination 4-7:

The style of self-expression of the 4-7 is more controlled. They are more exact, straightforward and matter of fact in how they talk and the way they speak. It’s a bit more dry. On the other hand, they usually know what they are talking about. They are more serious and mindy in how they express themselves, avoiding emotions more often than not. Matter of fact kind of people. They love information and often express their thoughts and feelings by referring to data and facts. Their self-expression is rooted is truthfulness and correctness.

Number combination: 5-9:

The 5-9 people’s self-expression is normally very open and communicative. They love connecting, sharing their experiences with others and say whatever is on their mind. They have very little boundaries in their self-expression and this can be both a lot of fun to be around but sometimes a bit too much for some. Their openness might be embarrassing for people. They have a free spirit and love of spontaneity and allowing the breeze of the moment to dictate their next move. They are inspired and inspiring.

Number combination 6-8:

The style of self-expression of the 6-8 personality is both warm and respectable. They give a sense of someone who holds space for you, in the way that you can rely on them, that they take you under their wing. They are usually very resourceful and like to give others while simultaneously empowering them. Groundedness is their language and they truly understand the language of matter, the value of things, and very often speak from that place. The self-expression of the 6-8 also has a parental quality to it. They love giving others a sense of safety and home.

Number combination 7-9:

The self-expression of the 7-9 persona is profound, deep and wise. When they talk, they talk with perspective and usually in broader strokes. They love a good, meaningful conversation and will always be happy when asked to share something of true essential value. Their expression in the world is often motivated by a great wish to learn, grow, evolve and touch deeper truth. To that end they also love to teach. Their self-expression is deeply fulfilled when they can pass on wisdom and uplift people to higher levels of inner maturity and a wiser perspective.

Number combination 8-9:

The self-expression of the 8-9 personality is very fiery, intense and passionate. They communicate with a lot of energy and intensity. On the one hand they can come across as impressive, like someone who lights a fire in others, like an engine of sorts, an energy source. On the other hand, they can be overwhelming due to their immense energy levels. They love devouring life, trying out new things, going on adventures. Their expression is powerful and relentless! In fact, one can say that whatever they want to express and make true, they are capable of achieving it.

Self-Expression should be Spontaneous

After everything I’ve written here about the numbers and their unique self-expression styles, I want to introduce a little caveat. In the end of the day, we are all living beings, not fixed templates. Yes, we do have patterns through which we operate, but we are much vaster than them. In my teachings, I always try to express possibilities but never axioms. I want to open your mind to feeling numerology, to understanding the language of numbers. But when it comes to your self-expression, allow yourself to be real. Don’t try to adhere in a rigid way to the numbers. Inquire about your numbers more as a way to understand your design better, but don’t limit yourself to what you think these numbers represent. Enjoy being yourself and your self-expression will then be the most authentic.
